Service Description

This course is for you if you've just welcomed a new puppy into your home and you want to give your puppy the skills they'll need to be a happy, well-mannered, and confident adult. Invest in your puppy’s future and spend the next 6 weeks giving your pup (and yourself) a toolbox of skills and knowledge to ease your way through the puppy rearing process. Start on the right foot to cultivate a positive and nurturing bond with your new best friend! Tentative course schedule: Week 1: Orientation, getting to know you, your puppy, and your goals to ensure each team's needs are being met. An introduction to training through positive reinforcement and evidence-based practices, canine body language, and breed specific enrichment. Week 2: Introduction to marker training and basic functional behaviors Week 3: Safety Skills Week 4: Impulse Control, Threshold Training Week 5: Handling, Veterinary Preparation Week 6: Leash Manners

Cancellation Policy

If Client fails to give at least 24 hours cancellation notice, or is not present at time of scheduled appointment, session fees are still due. A “no show” or cancellation within 24 hours of appointment time will still be counted as one session. Appointments may be rescheduled up to two times before being forfeited. All classes must be completed within 70 days from the date of payment or they will be forfeited. Any fees incurred on your transaction to Courteous Canines Inc. from PayPal or Venmo are not refundable. We apologize for this inconvenience and wish we could absorb the cost of the fees for everyone, but we simply cannot. Thank you for understanding.
